His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah emphasises on upholding the highest standards of safety, performance and accountability across the Brunei Shell Joint Ventures, BSJV and Brunei Gas Carriers Companies, BGC. His Majesty underscores the need for stronger execution, a culture of psychological safety, and continuous vigilance to ensure long-term resilience and impact. His Majesty made the titah while chairing the 415th Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei Shell Petroleum Sendirian Berhad, BSP and the 193rd Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei Shell Marketing Sendirian Berhad, BSM for the Second Quarter of the year 2025. The meeting took place at the Prime Minister's Office, 30th July morning.
Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy and Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister for Energy at the Prime Minister's Office as members of the BSP and BSM Board of Directors. The meeting commenced with the reading of Doa. The meeting discussed critical areas such as safety, operational performance, financials, and manpower development were discussed for both BSP and BSM. The meeting marks the end of the Brunei Shell Joint Venture Companies Board Meetings for the Second Quarter of 2025.
Also in attendance were key stakeholders including Shareholder Directors representing the Government of His Majesty and Shell PLC, as well as members of the respective Management from BSP and BSM.
